Knuckles sees Julie-Su on a date with an echidna named Raynor. Flustered enough he tries to hide, but ends up knocking over a waiter. As Julie-Su walks towards the commotion, Knuckles gets teleported away. Ending up on a rooftop, he talks to Archimedes about how fearful he is about approaching Julie. Archimedes explains that the Soultouch compensates for echidnas being bad at romance and Knuckles watches as the Chaotix enter an arcade on the street below. In Haven, Locke asks Sabre if he has seen his son. Semper Fidelis and Deo Volente realize Archimedes must have taken him away and Locke is frustrated, wondering why he decided to meddle in his business. Deo bluntly states that Archimedes might by trying to help Knuckles have a better love life than Locke. Sabre agrees and prepares to observe the situation, but Locke forbids him from invading Knuckles' privacy.
